Deluxe King Room features excellent standards with cozy furnishings and a spacious layout that feels like a home away from home. The non-intrusive atmosphere allowed for a relaxing stay, giving me the freedom to come and go without a fuss.
Bathroom not being en-suite caught me off guard. it’s just a hop down a small landing which might feel inconvenient for some. The bathroom itself could use an upgrade, particularly around the shower—definitely showing its age. On top of that, the door rattled slightly every time I shifted in bed. propping a chair against it was an odd but effective fix.

We had such a cozy stay, enjoying the warm shower and the comfy bed in our spacious room. The hotel also offered a lovely outdoor seating area and a small library to relax in. The only thing was a slight noise from the hallway, but it didn't bother us much at all. 😊

as soon as i got there, the owner was super friendly n showed me my room which was amazin. had this cool table by the window, a big fridge that had fresh milk every day, and the bed was really comfy. got free snacks too which was a nice surprise! easy parking and felt secure. it’s close to supermarkets n not far from town, maybe like a 10min walk.
only thing was that the wifi was kinda weak sometimes. also, i wish the shower had more water pressure.

It was just a fine choice for a fleeting pause in Stratford-upon-Avon with great value for money. I appreciated having tea, coffee, and porridge available in the room, which made the stay a bit more comfortable. Just a heads up, the bathroom is not en-suite.

I loved my stay at Oakleigh House. The welcome from Sharon felt warm and genuine. The Deluxe King Room was spacious and beautifully decorated, making it comfortable. I appreciated the fridge stocked with fresh milk, water, and snacks. It added a lovely touch to the self-catering experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to town, which made exploring easy. One downside was the bathroom situation. it wasn’t en-suite, and the shared bathroom needed some updates. The shower pressure could definitely be better too. The occasional noise from the owner in the adjacent room was a bit distracting. Still, the thoughtful extras made up for some minor inconveniences.
